A brand with a long history, the original Don Lino line was first launched in 1989. In 2019 Miami Cigar & Co. announced that it would be bringing it back, with legendary producer A.J. Fernandez, working on the blend and delivering a fantastic cigar from his factory in Nicaragua.
The blend features Ecuadorian habano 2000 wrapper, a Cameroon binder, and a mix of Dominican piloto and Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe in the filler.
Rich, velvety smoke smothers the palate with every puff! There’s a spicy aroma present but the taste on the palate is smooth and not overly spicy. Expect Soft pepper, almond/nut and apricot, and dried fruit aromas throughout the cigar.
The cigar is impeccably constructed and features solid, near-white ash.
